As an international aviation company, Global Helicopter Service GmbH provides specialized helicopter services. These are currently provided with the main focus on African countries and the Middle East for humanitarian aid organizations and governmental institutions. In addition to flight operations, GHS provides comprehensive Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) support to third-party clients.
To strengthen our team, we are currently seeking a full-time
Continuing Airworthiness / CAMO Staff (m/f/x)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitoring and controlling the fleet´s technical status during daily flight operations and night stops, thus ensuring the aircraft remain airworthy and that all continuing airworthingess tasks are fullfilled.
- Communicating and coordinating relevant matters between NPCA and Part-145 organization to ensure safe, efficient and compliant CAMO activities.
- Monitoring the transfer of aircraft from the contracted Part-145 maintenance organization to flight operations after completing of maintenance activities.
- Rapid and optimized coordination of aircraft technical complaint rectification on home base and outside stations.
- Monitoring daily aircraft flight hours and flight cycles decision of corrective action requirements in coordination with NPCA.
- Supporting contracted EASA Part145 maintenance organizations regarding documentation requirements.
- Monitoring and reviewing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance performed by contracted EASA Part-145 maintenance organizations on behalf of the NPCA.
- Reviewing outgoing and incoming work orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Ensuring that all Aircraft Technical Log (ATL) entries and reports are complete and accurate.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a CAMO environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of EASA regulations, and the standards of Part M and Part CAMO.
- Proficient in common MS Office applications.
- Valid Continuation Training.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); good knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Aviation background with Bell 412, S-76, and/or EC225, as well as an aircraft maintenance license is an advantage.
- Willingness to work outside of standard hours, including week-ends and holidays, as part of GHS`s 24/7 operations.
- Willingness to work and live in Germany.
- A valid visa and work permit for Germany are required.
