Chief Engineer (m/f/d) Business Unit Boeing

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You coordinate directly with the Business Unit Manager.
• You take overall technical responsibility for all projects within the Business Unit Boeing.
• You own the system architecture and define the technical solution strategy.
• You lead and coordinate interdisciplinary engineering teams.
• You ensure compliance with all requirements regarding quality, cost, schedule, and risk.
• You are responsible for requirements management, system design, integration, and verification & validation.
• You prepare and lead technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).
• You collaborate closely with project management, customers, partners, and certification authorities.
• You drive the continuous improvement of engineering processes, methods, and standards.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• As the ideal candidate, you hold a master’s degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You have more than 10 years of professional experience in a comparable position.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• You show a high level of decision-making ability and excellent communication skills.
• You have experience in international projects; this is considered an advantage.
• You communicate confidently in English, and you benefit from additional German language skills.
